Our Story

Rubicon Training was incorporated in 2014 as a sister company to Rubicon Security. This came about after it was identified that there was a lack of training opportunities to up-skill current staff and to train anyone seeking to join the industry. 

All of our tutors across the sectors we specialise in hold a vast amount of sector competence, so you can rest assured that you are being trained by people who have the real-life experience and are still very much active within the industry.

Rubicon Training pride themselves in offering bespoke training packages to corporate clients and welcome organisations to make contact with us to discuss their training requirements.

We first started working with Rubicon Training Ltd back in May 2014. Over the past 6 years I have found it very refreshing to work with a training provider who can also provide work placements and employability routes through their sister company Rubicon Facilities Management Ltd.

The Rubicon management team have a strong understanding of the processes within funding streams and outcomes attached to the spending, which has always led to their careful selection process for the course with employment in the forefront of their minds. Before any course starts we hold an interview and selection day to ensure this process is maintained to the highest standard.

In the past 6 years we have run a wide range of courses from hospitality, security courses, first aid, sales and employability. With all courses receiving a tailored approach introducing more employability sections including work experience/work placements. If Rubicon FM ltd was not the employer involved with the end result they have worked with my department to include other sector specific employers to build a complete course.

 

Highfields, one of the UK’s most recognisable awarding organisations, are a global leader in compliance and work-based learning and apprenticeship qualifications. As such they’re regulated by Ofqual, Qualifications Wales, SQA Accreditation, the Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA), and the Security Industry Authority (SIA).
